One More Time For Tim Tebow – Jets Are Latest To Fall

Another overrated little trojan super-hyped quarterback has fallen to the Tim Tebow-led Denver Broncos, and again by virtue of a last-minute drive. Tebow is now 4-1 as a starter this season, and as predicted, is on his way to an AFL West title.

Tebow’s passing stats were, as always, horrible, but again as the fourth quarter waned, he took the Broncos 95 yards, scoring himself on a 20 yard run with under a minute to play, to the horror of the rotund windbag coach Rex Ryan and his scampy little trojan sex-offender, Marky Sanchez. That makes three straight weeks that Tebow has beaten a team led by a former trojan quarterback, beating the Carson Palmer Raiders, the Mark Cassel Chiefs, and now little Marky and his big, bad Jets. So where are Paul MacDonald and Vince Evans hiding?

Next week, Denver gets to make it five out of six, when they play San Diego, the worst coached team in the NFL and their downward-spiriling former star qb, Philip Rivers.

In other usc brain surgeon quarterbacking news, with the season-ending foot injury suffered by Houston’s Matt Schaub, it looks like Matt Leinart will get yet another chance to prove that his no. 10 pick in the first round of the 2006 NFL draft was one of the all-time worst picks, up there just below Ryan Leaf and Terry Baker.
