Pathetic AFC West Outdoing Itself

The trojan crybaby Carson Palmer committed only two turnovers and facing the moribund, coachless San Diego Chargers, the Raiders hung on to win a game tonight, a win that amazingly put them in first place in the AFC West.

The NFL brain trust needs to pass an emergency measure prohibiting any AFC West team from appearing in the playoffs. Sunday, the talentless Kansas City Chiefs face the energized Denver Broncos, and when Tim Tebow leads Denver to an easy win, there will be a three-way tie for second at 4-5, behind the 5-4 Raiders.

As I have said before, the Charger’s coaching staff is a disgrace. Seldom have I seen a team so talented play so bad, and when I have, it has almost always been due to one thing – the lack of talent at one position – quarterback. With the Chargers, they have a superbly talented quarterback, who under the spirited, experienced coaching of Norv Turner and his staff, has turned from All-Pro to Alpo. Turner should never have gotten the Charger head coaching job in the first place, he should never have been allowed to keep it until now, and he should not be allowed a single additional day in that position. Philip Rivers’ regression and the overall team play is atrocious, and in a division where their talent level is dominant over a group of mediocre teams, they are under .500. It was pathetic to see the over-the-hill trojan crybaby pick apart the San Diego defense as he did tonight.

Please, AEG, if the Chargers are the team that will play in your downtown LA albatross, part of the deal has to be NO Norv Turner!
